Health is Life
Gravity - AR App UX Concept - 2016 - Detroit, MI
Inspired by the work of Alexandra Drane and the philosophy: Health is Life, research was conducted to uncover and address the wicked problem of suicide. It was discovered during research that lower perceived social status increases one's risk for depression, the leading cause of suicide. Additional research was conducted around this theme, then leading into ideation, the end goal of reducing one’s risk for depression and ultimately suicide the question of “how might we help one increase their perceived social status?” was addressed.
The proposed design solution is Gravity, a conceptual Augmented Reality UX and App, designed to help one become more confident with who they are and to help one increase their social status by making meaningful connections with those they might not otherwise talk to.
